Bridging Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Chemistry for Life Science

After providing context to life science industry, the talk provides an introduction to machine learning and first principles simulations, their individual strengths and attention points, and finally how they interplay synergistically. Some examples from recent research projects are provided. The talk concludes with some fundamental questions on data driven and physics based predictions, hopefully initiating a fruitful Q&A
